Where Wellness Blooms
Welcome to a space where healing unfolds. Just like a garden, your body and mind need attention, care, and nurturing to thrive. Through the gentle art of Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, we nurture balance and vitality, helping you bloom into your best self.
The tools
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice that stimulates specific points on the body within pathways called meridians, through which qi flows. Using these points we work to restore balance, remove blockages, and promote overall healing. Acupuncture works with the body’s natural ability to heal itself, enhancing overall function along with supporting the immune system. The goal of acupuncture is to improve overall well-being and quality of life, and not just alleviating certain symptoms.
Cupping
Cupping therapy involves placing glass or plastic cups on the skin and creating a vacuum or suction inside them. This practice draws blood to the surface, which helps to increase circulation, ease muscle tension, and promote healing.
Electrical stimulation
Acupuncture combined with electrical stimulation is a treatment used to enhance the effects of acupuncture, especially for conditions such as chronic pain, muscle weakness, other muscular illnesses, or even fertility. The electrical stimulation is typically gentle and can be adjusted for intensity aiming to stimulate nerves and increase blood flow.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional healing technique that involves applying ‘moxa’ or dried mugwort to specific points on the body. The heat from burning the moxa stimulates circulation, produces warmth for certain conditions, and invigorates the body.

For first time patients, I like to chat with you before starting the treatment. I allow for an hour and a half on the first session and for every follow up visit about one hour! You will be able to relax for about 30 minutes.

We are so excited to have you start your acupuncture journey with us! Here are some things that you can expect during your first visit.
Consultation and diagnosis: we will talk about your history, lifestyle, diet, sleep, etc. and reason for seeking treatment. We may also do a diagnostic assessment of your tongue and pulse.
Treatment plan: based on the initial assessment we will develop a treatment plan for your specific needs.
Needle insertion: you will be able to lie down on a comfortable treatment table, and needles will be inserted into specific points on the body.
Rest: Once the needles are in place, you’ll typically relax for about 30 minutes. Some people feel a deep sense of calm or may even fall asleep during the session.
Aftercare: the needles will be removed, and cupping, moxibustion, or light massage could be performed depending on the reason for treatment. We will offer advice on hydration, rest or other lifestyle adjustments to support your healing process.
